Meet the Minis
Miniature horses offer an up close and personal encounter that brightens the day and offers sensory stimulation and therapeutic benefits during the visit and beyond. The small size of the miniatures and their training makes them suitable for indoor visits such as senior living facilities, rehabilitation centers, memory care, veteran centers, grief therapy groups, PTSD therapy, and even private home visits. During the visit, participants will get the opportunity to have safe direct contact with the horse(s) through petting and brushing right from their chairs.
Radar was born (foaled) on April 3, 2019 and was purchased on April 20, 2019. He captivated our hearts the minute we set eyes upon him. He was a curious little guy that was not afraid to come right up to us, leaving his momma behind. Our movements did not alarm him at all. He has remained this way and is a rock star in our program. He is trusting, takes time to examine the surroundings and then is game for any opportunity. Radar has alert eyes, a beautiful shiny black coat with some unique white markings and a soft fine mane. He is an attraction wherever he goes.
Miracle was born (foaled) at our barn (in Missouri at the time) on March 23, 2020 in the middle of the night and one month ahead of schedule. The morning we discovered his arrival, he was carried in my arms, bundled in a fleece wrap and placed in a stall with a heat lamp. His mother was never protective and allowed everyone to love on him. As a result, he is very lovable and gravitates to people of all ages. He is less than 2 years old, and is in training for therapy visits and special events. He is a very handsome boy with beautiful flowing mane and tail and brilliant paint markings. Miracle will do big things and bring joy and happiness to everyone he meets.
Harmony was born (foaled) on April 15, 2019 in Nevada, Missouri. It was obvious that she was special and had great potential as a therapy and entertainment horse by the calm demeanor of her mother (Dottie) and the success of Dottie’s earlier offspring in therapy. Majestic Miniatures purchased Harmony when she was only 5 days old. On August 8, 2019, Harmony arrived at the Majestic Miniatures Equine Services barn and began her training enrolled in the Seven Oaks Miniature Therapy Horse Training Program. Harmony loves to be stroked on the neck and back and loves kids. She has a happy-go-lucky spirit, and is a little bit of a “Ham”. Harmony is always first to greet and follow you around. She loved her trips to Liberty Academy where she got to weave through obstacle courses the students set up, ride in the elevator and navigate steps. When Harmony visits, you will enjoy her beauty, bright crystal blue eyes and her “horsenality”.
